A day in the life of a professional gamer
A lot people of our community are asking us how do we train, how do a day in the life of a player look like or how can they get a professional player. We want to give you a view into our organisation and asked our offlane god Airu how his day looks like. Here he shares his daily life.
9:20 First alarm goes off. I wake up and lay in bed until second alarm in 9:25. With second alarm morning routine starts. I drink some water and then I go to the bathroom, wash my face and brush my teeth. I just get ready for the day.
9:30 morning exercises, I usually warm up and then do sit ups, push ups and crunches.
10:00 shower time!
10:20 I cook for my girlfriend and me a breakfast. Today it happens to be my favorite meal – spaghetti with cheese and ketchup, delicious. While eating, I listen to some songs to motivate myself for the rest of the day. “I’ve got the worlds on a string” by Frank Sinatra will do a great job for this.

11:00 I go for a walk or sit at the balcony looking at the street, breathing lots of fresh air. Works really well for your mood, amplifying your good mood or if you happen to be in a bad one… giving you a good point to start from.
12:00 going through yesterday games. To look over games a day later and looking over the mistakes is much more effective. So you can consider your mistakes better and learn better from it. So also your learning process will be not so effected by your emotions.
13:00 Warm up games before the team training. Usually 2-3 solo games in matchmaking will do a good warm up for me.
If there is still time, I watch interesting tournament games. Sometimes i also have teamtalks or talk with our manager about important plans for the future.
15:30 Lunch, today it is fruit mix with liquid chocolate. I try to not eat a lot before team training or scrims else my energy goes to my stomach and not to my brain.

16:00 Team training starts. Depends on the day it can be 4 to 6 team games each taking around an hour. Schedule is very strict for this and we have games coming one after another with no more than 5-10 min breaks. All this training games are against top professional teams. During this we train our strategies or work on new ideas.
18:00 Having a snack to keep me going.
20:00 Another snack. Such snacks are really important to keep the energy level high. As a snack i mostly eat cereal.
22:00 Discussion about how games went with teammates and coach. After trainingdays the talk with the team and the coach is very important. So we get different opinions and can grow and get better. Mostly we have a short talk directly after all games and make an analyses a bit later.
22:30 finally dinner time. Today, thanks to my girlfriend, we eat rice with vegetables and chicken. Yummy. A healthy meal to stay fit and strong.
23:00 depending If it is a replay day we would go through games with coach for around 3 hours. Our coach is here very important for us. He shows us our mistakes and helps us to improve. He goes with us threw every mistake we did. Cause of this important factor we have some analysis days during the week.Today is we don’t have an analyses which means directly after the training games we start to play solo games.

02:00 Day is almost over, and so I am chilling before i go to sleep. Sleep and rest is also very important for us to get our full potential working.
02:30 is a time around which I go to bed. Good night, sleep well Daniel.
